This dream was pursued through high school, naval academy, and all the way to university. It was first after I discovered the fascinating and intricate world of medicine, that this life plan changed.After 18 incredibly exciting and enriching years within clinical practice and research, I discovered that there was a way to combine these two worlds. Previously: • Consultant in Cardiology at Department of Heart Disease - Haukeland University Hospital. Several years of experience in clinical cardiology and coronary CT angiography and in-depth knowledge of clinical practice, hospitals, and the clinical use of medical devices. • PhD in the field of preventive Cardiology with a focus on neuromuscular electrical stimulation and its effect on exercise physiology and cardiovascular risk factors.• Head of Medical Affairs at the med-tech startup Luzmon Medical AS, responsible for Clinical Evaluation, Product Risk Management, Product validation, and defining medical-, business- and product development strategy based on the regulatory framework and review of the scientific evidence.Now:Head of Research-based Innovation at VIS, leading a highly competent and experienced team of business developers and innovation managers, responsible for bringing research ideas to market and community.
