Lead Living World Designer
In a nutshell I make the narrative setting for our games feel tangible and make sense. Most recently I did this for Horizon Forbidden West and it's DLC The Burning Shores. My team is small, consisting of animators, tech animators and designers, but in order to create our content we must work closely with almost every other team at Guerrilla. For the most involved teams I try and make sure they hire a specialist who’s main task is to look after our content.I am the vision holder for Living World which means I spend my time developing ideas and then negotiating and persuading other teams to work with us. Keeping the vision on track requires constant vigilance and renewed collaborator buy-in, so I keep myself busy.If you are curious and have a GDC Vault pass have a look at my 2023 presentation https://www.gdcvault.com/play/1029117/Game-Narrative-Summit-Creating-a
