Even when showcasing high levels of competence, discrimination continues, especially in "medium-high" and "high-skilled" positions. In the U.S., discrimination against Latines is predominantly driven by negative portrayals of Latino men as "threatening foreigners." The Trump era may have exacerbated these stereotypes, further marginalizing the community.It is essential to challenge these biased perceptions and recognize the contributions of individuals in all professions. Housekeeping is often underestimated, but it is a skilled profession that involves various abilities. Skilled housekeepers possess expertise in cleaning techniques, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving. They follow safety protocols, provide excellent customer service in hospitality settings, and efficiently manage cleaning supplies and equipment. Housekeepers' multitasking capabilities make them essential for maintaining clean and organized environments.
