Santos GLNG Project is a pioneering initiative to convert coal seam natural gas (CSG), or coal bed methane as it is sometimes referred to, to liquefied natural gas (LNG) for export to global markets. Based in Queensland, Australia, the Project involves developing gas fields from the Bowen and Surat Basins in south-western Queensland. This ground-breaking US$18.5 billion Project is a joint venture between Santos and three of the world's largest LNG companies, PETRONAS, Total and KOGAS.Key accountabilities include:Providing development geology analyses, with a special focus in building geological models in contributing towards the appraisal and development of the CSG fields, including designing and overseeing the implementation of geological data acquisition and analysis programs.Preparing 3D static models and evaluating geological uncertainty within the models,including estimating and documenting gas in place and gas reserve estimates using deterministic and probabilistic methodologies.Assisting in the provision of data to Reserves Auditors and review auditors’ methodology and results and in project approvals and liaising with Reservoir Engineers to determine optimal parameters for exporting static models to dynamic model packages.Key words: Development Geology, Petrel, Geomodelling, Coal Seam Gas, Coal Bed Methane.

I am a member of one of the most competent and skilled team in the spatial industry in charge of provide technical support for the remote sensing and GIS community of the region.Main responsibilities:• Provide technical support and advice to customers in Australia and New Zealand for the remote sensing and photogrammetry suite of ERDAS products for desktop: the applications would not only include the flagship products of ERDAS, Imagine and ER Mapper, but also the extensions for ArcGis (Stereo Analyst, Terrain Editor and Image Analysis), LPS (including eATE and Terrain Editor applications) and additional plugins.• Provide technical support for Lidar Analyst and Feature Analyst for ERDAS Imagine: including all the processing involved in the extraction of digital terrain models from LIDAR data.• Deliver remote sensing training either from standard courses or consultative ones: including courses like Fundamental of Imagine I and II, Stereo Analysis for ArcGIS and Multispectral Classification to several groups of specialists from different industries like geoscience, environment and defense, among others.• Logging, tracking and feeding back software defects and enhancement requests• Supporting Sales team by providing technical answers, demos and presentations: specially, but not exclusively, demos for most of the ERDAS suite showing different functionalities, workflows and possible applications in several industries.

My position in this institution required processing and interpreting remote sensing data to identify geological and geomorphologic features and potential areas for mining and petroleum exploration.Main Tasks:Interpret and map remote sensing data: I have interpreted geologic and geomorphologic features, as well as identified anomalous areas, in remote sensing data in the following projects: 1) La Blanquilla Island project, where I mapped the lithological units and type of relieves by interpreting Ikonos and Aster data; 2) In The Orinoco Oil Belt Project, along with other professionals, I interpreted and mapped the geological formations and forms of relieves in an area of 56.000 km2, using Landsat data, digital elevation models from the SRTM and slope models, followed by extensive field work and 3) Thermal anomalies detection using the ASTER thermal bands.Process remote sensing data: the techniques applied have been several, including geometric and radiometric corrections, image classification, standard processing of digital imagery.Hyper-spectral processing techniques: I have applied hyper-spectral techniques to hyper-spectral data (Hyperion images) and multi-spectral data (ASTER images), like the algorithms of Minimum Noise Fraction (MNF), Pixel Purity Index (PPI), n-dimensional visualizer and mapping techniques.Field work: every project I was part included extensive geologic and geomorphologic field work in order to corroborate and adjust the interpretation made in laboratory.Apply GPS techniques: to locate geological features in maps or geo-referenced satellite images and to obtain "ground control points" needed in some types of geometric correction (differential GPS techniques).Instructor in training courses: I have taught several courses of remote sensing at basic and intermediate level. These courses were focused in imagery digital processing.

• Supervised and evaluated the staff of the Mining Technology Coordination. Planned field excursions, technical meetings and several seminars for the students.• Taught several courses: mineral reservoirs, general geology and structural geology.

Evaluated and mapped the geology for the Eastern Highway, Las Lapas – Higuerote zone, Miranda State, Venezuela with geotechnical goals: this evaluation consisted in a surface geology study where I mapped the litho-stratigraphic units, lineaments and landslides of the area. I elaborated a technical report and the respective geologic map.

Tectono-stratigraphic study of the Barlovento Basin, Miranda state: Neotectonic implications. As a result, a geological model was obtained and the geological cartography of the basin was updated
