Direction of the SNITT (National System for Research and Technology Transfer at the Secretary of Agriculture), responsible institution in Mexico of the coordination of Agricultural policy of research, innovation and technology transfer in public / private organizations, universities and the Congress of the Union under a "golden triangle" approach.Main Achievements: • Alignment and co-creation of the "Mexican Agri-business Agenda" to focus and maximize the use of more than $2,500 million MXN (approx. $125 million USD) in public grants from the Secretary of Agriculture. • Inspire of a team of 16 diverse agriculture professionals and manage an annual budget of $20 million MXN (approx. $1 million USD) with variations of less than 1%.• Development of a strategy map with performance indicators to comply with the institutional Key Performance Indicator Matrix (MIR) for the 2016 and 2017 periods, exceeding expectations.• Workshop creation to align national projects for key stakeholder groups and chambers, such as local and transnational enterprises, National Agrobusiness Council (CNA), Sugarcane Sustainable Development Committee (CONADESUCA), Sugar and Alcohol National Industry Chamber (CNIAA) and sugarcane organizations.

Project Manager Officer for the initiation, planning, execution/control, and conclusion of a 24 project portfolio for Latin America North. The projects included chemistry, biotechnology, continuous improvement and strategic projects under the PMBOK International Standard created by the Project Management Institute. Main Achievements: • Develop the first formal project management process for Latin America North to align objectives between areas of the company and obtain the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.• Coach 2 direct reports to improve the lead time (50% reduction) in dossier preparation and delivery to the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS) in order to obtain sanitary registers for new chemistry products.• Budget control of more than $70 million MXN (approx. $3.5 million USD) to advance the project portfolio, reporting directly to the USA HQ (St. Louis, MO) with variations of no more than 5% annually.• Acknowledgement for the data management in a scientific paper on pollen flow for GMO Corn in PLOS One (see link).• Graduated from the company´s High-Potential program "Local Leadership Exchange” for Latin America North.

Project management for the launch of GMO corn in Mexico, including task planning, budget control and regulatory compliance. Dossier preparation for R&D projects to obtain government grants and tax incentives from The National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) and the Secretary of Economy.Main achievements:• Acquire more than $36 million MXN (approx. $1.5 million USD) of governmental grants for pharmaceutical enterprises such as: Landsteiner Scientific, Schering-Plough, AstraZeneca, and GlaxoSmithKline. • Creation of a performance evaluation tool for Adetek associates, programed on VBA-Excel.• Provide consulting services on technical documentation to participate in Secretary of Economy, CONACYT and National Technology Prize programs.

Development of an experimental process to create an improved maceration process for barley, sorghum and rice, with the objective of achieving a higher yield in the production of high fructose syrup for brewing beer at Cervecería Cuauhtémoc-Moctezuma (now Heineken).Main achievements:• Understanding the fermentation processes, design of experiments and biotechnological quantification techniques.• Assist a Master of Science thesis with a specialty in Biotechnology.
