I am passionate about helping others achieve their true potential. Whether that means dissuading commonly held prejudices, educating employers, or empowering job seekers by helping them realize their worth, true equality is something that we must strive for every day. In my most recent position, I encounter many individuals daily who are not in roles pursuant to their qualifications or experience simply as a result of their visual impairment. For as long as the unemployment rate among individuals with disabilities remains higher than that of the general population, work needs to be done to bridge that gap to achieve employment equality.The missions that resonate the most with me involve tackling injustices, human rights, and disability rights.
