The The role primarily focuses on building a strong Engineering team across Australia, India and Singapore that has the technical skills required to migrate from a legacy Switching application to a modern application utilizing all the latest technology including DevOps. Initial challenge was to work with the teams to transition from a waterfall model of delivery to an agile model while trying to keep up to the Business needs and ensuring Regulatory compliance are met. Currently leading an initiative to create a Site Reliability Engineering team that will: * re-engineer the services based on Service Level Objectives * automating testing through tools such as Tosca * reduce toiling by using various tools such as uDeploy, powershell scripts * implementing better monitoring tools such as Splunk and NewRelic * ultimately reduce service outages in the Production environments and helps increase the release frequency.

Responsibilities:1. Coaching application designers and improving design capabilities for Australia, Asia Pacific Switching applications. 2. Individually contribute to projects, working closely with the Business Analysts, designing solution and lead the development, testing and implementation activities. 3. Member of the Switching Design forum, to review Switching Design.4. Additionally manage changes to the application in a Release model, which includes managing release scope, reporting on the progress, financial reporting, engaging with the vendors for their delivery and managing risks.5. Currently involved in delivering solution for simplifying the Switch for Australia, where a new application is being deployed in a MicroService model that will include use of Docker and OpenShift.Accomplishments:1. Lead a team of Designers and Developers to successfully deliver Union Pay International (UPI) card acquiring for Australia, New Zealand and 10 other Asia Pacific countries. Designed and managed delivery of a new platform called Global Schemes Gateway as part of this project that consolidated the various interfaces from each geographies.2. Developed a utility that would scan for confidential information with in the emails before being sent out, especially complying with PCI-DSS. This reduced the risk of leakage of confidential information. Rewarded by Head of Technology India for developing this utility.3. Being an Agile enthusiast, currently being involved in coaching the team to deliver using the Scrum Framework, which includes delivering functions as stories in shorter sprints and utilising Release train approach for frequent and regular delivery that increases the time to market.

Responsibilities: 1. Ensure quality delivery of projects involving changes to Sparrow application across 13 countries in Asia Pacific. 2. Managing the Vendor who does product development and managing a team of 20 people across Build, Testing and Production support teams. 3. One of the first responsibility of this role was to transition from Australia to India and was completed in 3 months. Accomplishments:1. New Sparrow Implementations for Guam and Laos, within 6 months including installation of the latest version of Sparrow application, interfacing with Visa and MasterCard and issuing Maestro Debit cards.2. Upgrade Sparrow application to the latest version for 11 of the Asia Pacific countries and upgrade of the POS infrastructure. Involved migration of customer data and cryptographic information. This was successfully achieved with in the allocated time and to the budget.3. Setup of a Domestic Interchange for Indonesia to allow customers to perform Cash Withdrawal, Balance Enquiry and Inter-Bank Funds transfer across all ATMs domestically. Challenge was implement a new platform, interface with a new backend system and certify with the domestic interchange.4. Setup a fully functional ATM test lab to support development and testing for Switching projects across 13 countries. Key challenges involved sourcing the ATMs from NCR, providing inputs on how the test lab should be built with all the necessary network connectivity.

Responsibilities & Accomplishments:1. This role involved managing the Build and Production Support teams for Sparrow application, which included 10 people.2. Initial challenge was that the team was down to just 2 people and had to be scaled up and team had to be trained3. Successfully managed Post Implementation production issues for Cambodia which had got escalated to COO.4. Championed a number of process changes including Version Controlling, Business process oriented testing, Sorbanes-Oxley process compliance.5. Delivered Computer based training program on Sparrow for new joiners to the team.

As part of this role, I worked to implement POS solution from scratch for Cambodia and also to expand the ATM network in Cambodia, while providing support for all the other Pacific countries. Cambodia had major problems with ATM network due to the software and network. I did a full analysis and provided consultancy on resolving all the issues.

Worked as a Tester and Implementer on a large program that involved upgrade to Sparrow application, ATM and POS hardware and Hardware Security Modules across 11 Asia Pacific countries to support Triple DES. Production changes were done in multiple phases for each country over a 3 year timeframe.Developed utilities to migrate Cryptography information without any outage to the customer applications.

CR2 specialises in delivering Channel Banking Solutions for Financial institutions across the globe.The role involved providing Professional Services that included consulting and software implementation in Switching (Sparrow) based on Clients' requirements.Some of the major achievements in this role include implementing CardWorld Producer for Canara bank to issue Visa Debit cards, upgraded the Sparrow version for National Bank of Kenya, Implemented Mobile Top-up for Bank of Butterfield in Cayman Island, Host interface upgrade for American Express Bank in India, POS upgrade for Bank of Curaçao.
