Data Analysis and Pricing Models• Detailed energy data analysis in order to determine pricing for long term projects• Developed excel template that can capture energy data and extract valuable decision making information in pivot/chart format • Scenario and cost analysis to identify potential clients• Review and update pricing models in terms of energy consumption, generation and actual cost

Financial Control, Financial Reporting, Budgets and Forecasts• Managing all financial functions for Equipment Sales Business Unit and PowerChokes Product Line (North America Oil and Gas sector)• Ensure monthly financial KPIs are met – Revenue, EBITDA and Working Capital by being focal point between Product Line Directors, Engineering and Business Development• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Reporting including financial overview for Board of Directors• Yearly Budgets, Monthly Forecasts, Weekly Cash Forecast• Annual review of 5 Year Plan and strategies on execution• Review new Bid Evaluation Request (BER) as submitted by Commercial Team• Coordinate Balanced Scorecards and Strategic Initiatives, including monthly updates and reports• Coordinate and facilitate quarterly and yearly audits with external auditors• Preparation of detailed journals and accruals as well as various ledger reconciliations as part of month/quarter/year end close• Stock control and Fixed Asset management• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures for both US GAAP and IFRS accounting methods

Additional responsibilities to that of accountant include:Regional Reporting and Budget• Monthly Flash, Financial Management Report and scorecard preparation for submission by Finance Director• Quarterly Forecast submission and Tax Pack completion• Preparation of yearly budget: extensive liaison with Area Management and Directors

Statutory Reporting & Financial Management• Preparation of financials for yearly audit• VAT and Expatriates’ Tax calculation and submission due to SARS (South African Revenue Services)• Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reviews and subsequent variance analysis• Management of Treasury function and reporting

Financial Statements and Cash Forecasting• Assisting line manager with monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reviews as well as tax calculations: VAT & Expatriate Tax• Posting of relevant journal entries; month end accruals and ensuring costs and revenue are captured in the correct reporting period.• Submitting cash forecast for a two week period on a weekly basis in order to ensure sufficient funds are available for business continuity and operational efficiency • Review local vendor reconciliations before weekly payment run can be initiated• Monthly and annual stock take at operational facility as per audit requirements• Fixed Asset Register and depreciation schedule

Creditors and Stock• Vendor invoice processing; reconciliation of detailed supplier ledgers and ensuring suppliers are paid promptly in order to maintain a continuous business operation• Primary contact for national suppliers as well as colleagues for the resolution of payment disputes and ad hoc queries• Manage monthly stock take procedures; month end close for six internal stores and subsequent roll over into next accounting period

Creditors, On Hold Report and Journals• Playing a significant role maintaining the trade relationships with the biggest GNFR [Goods Not For Resale] suppliers• Clearing high value invoices [£50k+] from the on hold report, ensuring payment in order to receive non-tradable goods within stipulated timeframe • Striving to achieve KPI targets as set out by top level management; by prompt and efficient resolution of supplier payment queries and accurate processing of GNFR invoices and daily internal review process• Uploading of complex journal entries in order to filter out invalid cost centres and subsequently posting of journals to cross charge invalid cost centres
