- Investigate reports of neglect, abuse, or exploited children- Assists individuals in utilizing available agency and community resources- Provide services that promote healthful child development- Attend court hearings and meetings related to assigned cases- Conduct extensive fieldwork including traveling to client homes, alternative placements, and court- Interact with Law Enforcement, juvenile officers, community organizations, and other public officials regarding family and children’s- Record initial and ongoing case activities, maintain case records, and prepare all required reports

- Responsible for completion of a family assessment on all students within 7 days of enrollment; ensured individual treatment plan is developed within 14 days of the student's arrival- Facilitates students’ progress meetings, with members of the management team monthly- Create individualized treatment and behavior goals for students- Ensure that each student is meeting with the advisor weekly to discuss progress in the program- Facilitates Aggression Replacement Training and Life Skill groups- Facilitates girl counsel groups weekly to serve as a positive role models for female students- Maintains case management notes to ensure adequate case treatment and documentation- Attend and professionally represent the program at court hearings, meetings, and legal proceedings- Assists in establishing desirable student conduct and discipline; Prevents/intervenes in student altercations and incidents- Create documentation to ensure files display the day to day services provided to students- Conducts home visits with students and families in accordance with state requirements

- Develop group and individual treatment plans- Assist youth in developing life skills- Teach youth the appropriate manner in which to deal with core issues- Conduct programs to teach youth the value of teamwork- Monitor youth to ensure safety and serve as a mentor- Fulfill managerial duties in the absence of a direct manager- Complete weekly paperwork on youth to ensure deadlines are met
