Sonny is from a small, rural town in South Texas. He grew up reading Scientific American, fascinated by the articles: from the quantum scale to astrophysics. Sonny studied electrical engineering and went on to work in the semiconductor industry for nearly 20 years. He eventually figured out that his vocation is coding, not electrons and circuits.In January, 2013, Sonny took a big risk and changed his career to web development. He attended the MakerSquare boot camp in Austin, TX. There he learned Ruby, Rails, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and many other essential things like the Balmer Peak. Sonny has been working in web development for about a year now and practices his craft daily.
