Job Summary: Lead and oversee the implementation of strategic improvement initiatives across the organization. Responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality within operational processes. Experience in applying continuous improvement methodologies and a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: - Co-lead Value Improvement Program within the organization focused on reduce Value of Production. - Collaborate with leaders from different departments to identify areas for improvement and establish clear objectives for operational excellence. - Lead the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to drive process efficiency and quality. - Design strategies and action plans to optimize operational processes and achieve measurable outcomes. - Monitor analysis of data and key metrics to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities. - Direct cross-functional teams in executing improvement projects, ensuring proper resource allocation and adherence to timelines. - Develop and deliver training in continuous improvement methodologies for employees at all levels of the organization. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee participation and recognizing achievements in operational excellence. - Stay informed about best practices and trends in operational excellence and apply updated knowledge to decision-making. - Provide regular reports to senior management on the progress of improvement initiatives and achieved results.

Responsible to lead a staff of Process Improvement Engineers to identify and execute upon projects to increase productivity, eliminate waste and maximize cost while providing a positive customer experience. Employs good Lean Six Sigma project management standards and works with process owners, site leaders and project champions to develop process measurement systems, project pipelines and effective management tools. Partners with various operational and related support departments to ensure synergy savings and consistent operations across the organization. Prioritize, lead and deploy Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects/initiatives, infuse Lean Six Sigma mindset and practices into the organization, deliver improved operating and financial performance and serve as a mentor to others with respect to lean six practices. In addition, I'm considered a subject matter expert regarding injection molding process.

Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities. Assures Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are improved through a structured and scientific approach.

Provide leadership and line management to the work cell crew, assisting in coordinating workloads, providing support, monitoring issues, ensuring production targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality standards are met for the work cell.Ensuring people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner, that team follows defined standard work procedures while achieving quality and safety standards.Reinforce and lead by example full adherence to 5’s (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices.Support work order closures and stock control transactions.Assist in performing root cause analysis and resolving problems in work cell, keeping management fully communicated throughout the process.Assist management in routine performance, quality, safety, and attendance corrective actions with employees in your work cell.Required to communicate and maintain your work cell’s production metrics and information and at times communicate results to various levels of organization in both formal and informal settings.Interface as required with Production Scheduling to determine schedules for shift production.Leading by example is important in this role. This requires you to begin to develop and learn how to lead your team positively and build a culture of respect and teamwork for all.
