Data AnalystETL and source to target validation lead: led a coworker located in Costa Rica and a US contractor (client contractor) located in Phoenix, AZ. Validated the ETLs developed to extract, transform, and load 29 data sources (bank’s data) into the new data warehouse to implement SAS Anti-Money Laundering. Validated a total of 99 mapping documents for different sources including data like: accounts, customer, cash flow, transactions, etc.IDA or PDA: manipulated datasets in different formats (xls, csv, txt, dat, etc) to check missing required values, data types mismatches, records types volumes, and all assumptions required for ETL processes. Provided data requirements expectations, timelines, showstoppers and key information to upstream systems data support.ETL UAT tester: extracted data from SAS Anti-Money Laundering Core database using Teradata and validated the ETL results using the Source to Target mapping documents. Emulated the transformation formulas with advanced Excel applied in source data. Identified pre-ETL data gaps, business formulas issues, incorrect variables evaluation, source to target mismatches, etc.Results documentation, presentation and follow up: Documented all findings, and carried out conference calls to check findings and identify defects with business matter experts, upstream systems technology, and data mapping analysts. Provided samples and results to key areas for review and discussion on calls. Documented defects and followed up on resolutions for re-testing and move forward with next phases. Business System Consultant & User acceptance testing (UAT) coordinator: for 3 different systems supported by the Enterprise Risk Technology Management team and related with FCA, FCI, and AML- Wires system.Created UAT test plans using BRD, FSD, DSD.
