Under the supervision of Dr. Maicol Ochoa, studied topological features of the generalized Su–Schrieffer–Heeger model to understand phase changes in finite aperiodic arrays of hopping electrons; found analytical bounds for energy gaps and characterized the eigenvector trajectories in the finite-dimensional case by considering the entropy of the system; also delivered a lecture on complex geometry, quantum computing, and the construction of the Bloch sphere to high schoolers as part of a mini fellowship

Found new equivalence constants for a finite dimensional approximation of an L-seminorm, resulting in a preprint; worked in a group under Professor Konrad Aguilar

Advise students, lead review sessions, and grade weekly homework sets for a class of roughly 30 students.

Conducted research in quantum information theory under Professor Konrad Aguilar; determined the contractivity of quantum channels with respect to different metrics; characterized 'phi norms' that arise from the GNS construction and found equivalence constants relating it to other well known matrix norms

Recommended by high school teacher to work with 7 IB students primarily in economics; improve students’ writing skills and comprehension of economics by creating practice problems and review sheets; cover topics in macro, micro, and international economics

In charge of correcting weekly homeworks for a Calculus II Course with roughly 25 students.

Through a history course taught by April Mayes and Miguel Tinker Salas, transcribed roughly 10 inter-views conducted by UCSD students with Honduran migrants in Spanish for an ethnography.
