Esteban Ramírez is under graduated from Planning for Agricultural Development program at the National Autonomous University of Mexico UNAM. He has worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Social Research, analyzing problems in the Mexican countryside around the loss of agrobiodiversity, migration, seed control, and climate change. He participated in the general coordination team of the COP13 on biodiversity as diplomatic liaison with ministers and international delegates. Since 2017 he has been part of the Global Youth Network for Biodiversity (GYBN) where he currently coordinates the Alliances axis of the Mexico Chapter. Esteban was part of the Climate Leaders Corps of The Climate Reality Project. He has represented Civil Society in the official Mexican delegation in the third Working Group and the Scientific Technical Advisory and Implementation Bodies for the construction of the Strategic Plan of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity in Geneva, Switzerland and continued his representation in to the delegation of Mexico for the adoption of this plan during the 15th Conference of the Parties to be held in December 2022 in Montreal, Canada.Esteban Ramírez, es egresado de la licenciatura en Planificación para el Desarrollo Agropecuario por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Se ha desempeñado como asistente de investigación en el Instituto de Investigaciones Sociales, analizando problemáticas del campo mexicano en torno a la pérdida de agrobiodiversidad, la migración, el control de semillas y el cambio climático. Participó en la coordinación general de la COP13 sobre biodiversidad como enlace diplomático con ministros y delegados internacionales. Desde 2017, es miembro de la Red Global de Jóvenes por la Biodiversidad (GYBN) donde actualmente coordina el eje de Alianzas del Capítulo México. Esteban forma parte del Cuerpo de Líderes Climáticos de The Climate Reality Project. Ha representado a la Sociedad Civil en la delegación oficial mexicana en el tercer Grupo de Trabajo y los Órganos de Asesoramiento Técnico Científico y de Implementación para la construcción del Plan Estratégico del Convenio de Diversidad Biológica de Naciones Unidas en Ginebra, Suiza y continuó su representación en la delegación mexicana para la adopción de este plan durante la 15° Conferencia de las Partes a celebrarse en diciembre de 2022 en Montreal, Canadá.
