Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow, July 2019-December 2019-Administering bedside swallowing and speech/language/cognitive diagnostic evaluations-Implementing treatment plans for adults with diverse medical needs in a skilled nursing facility-Utilizing Casamba Skilled software to document and bill for services-Collaborating with other members of the rehab team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, PTAs, and COTAs, as well as nursing staff and doctors to ensure the most efficient individualized care plan for each patient

As a graduate intern, I was able to gain valuable hands-on experience under the supervision of a licensed and certified SLP. I was able to provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing intervention at many stages of recovery from acute in-patient at a large hospital, to acute rehabilitation, to an outpatient clinic. MBS & FEES experience.

Under the direct supervision of licensed and certified SLPs, I provided speech and language diagnostic and treatment therapy to adult and pediatric clients at the on-campus Speech and Hearing Clinic. I worked with adults post-stroke and post-brain injury. I also worked with children birth-to-three with early intervention needs, and children with ASD with social language deficits.

Assistant Teacher in 3 different settings. Infant Room (6 weeks-3 months), Toddler Room (6 months-24 months) and Preschool Room (3-4 years).Job responsibilities included feeding, diaper changes, coordinating educational activities, outdoor activities, providing care for 5 hours a day.
