Adult Computer Literacy Instructor (New York City) Monitor day-to-day activities of computer lab including: ● Recruit and enroll students ● Provide orientation sessions for NYCHA residents ● Create and sustain a safe, comfortable and engaging environment for class participants ● Coordination of class make-up sessions as necessary to ensure continuous learning ● Implement class curriculum utilizing Microsoft Office Professional Productivity Suite ● Train participants to effectively navigate computer software programs and other related skills including navigating the internet and using email; setting up social networking accounts Provision of administrative coordination of computer lab activities including: ● Maintaining student registration and attendance records ● Conduct pre and post test student assessments ● Collaborate on the writing and development of grant proposals and lab budgets ● Review and select instructional materials ● Participate in curriculum development activities ● Develop promotional and recruitment materials for community distribution Provision of technical support including: ● Maintaining hardware and software ● Conduct troubleshooting and repair activities ● Report, log and record technical problems and resolutions ● Maintain a log of all hardware returned for repairs and/or replaced ● Communicate any unresolved issues related to lab to President of Housing Association
