I was a community relations manager for policy areas relating to economic development, public health and civic engagement. I designed an outreach framework for a multi-city economic development initiative. I successfully launched original programs and initiatives within economically-depressed communities in south Florida. I also created a comprehensive communications plan for the Lake Okeechobee Regional Initiative, an initiative that galvanized community members around civic engagement and ecotourism.

While managing the internal development team that focused on process improvement, company culture and corporate outreach, I designed and implemented award-winning projects. I was able to increase corporate fundraising dollars by 50 percent for four consecutive years. I was the editor and writer for the employee newsletter distributed quarterly to 180 employees. I also communicated the legislative priorities to our 410-city membership through traditional media, multimedia and social media.
