As an account executive, I am responsible to liaise with numerous clients, involve in creative content brainstorming process, assembling pitch decks, designing and building digital and social media strategy, as well as organizing and monitoring campaigns or events based on KPIs.

As a part-time researcher, i have been assigned in a completely new field, which is food and beverage export. I am assigned to produce a comprehensive data on exported products that are considered to be competitors, and also evaluating different markets and prices, as well as product merchandising.

As a junior associate at New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, I was responsible of travel arrangements, taking notes of meetings and making sure that networking events are useful to the company. During this business trip I have gained a handful of international network with individuals and companies in the energy sector, as well as learning about the disciplines and work ethics. It is a new experience for me to work among diversified culture and on this specific field. The field trips were a highlight, since I gained a first-person knowledge from experts and experienced individuals.

As a junior associate, I was assigned to assist the organization of city government to welcome New Zealand Ambassador and delegations on this trade mission. My key tasks were facilitating delegations as a translator, transcribing activities, and most importantly making sure that networking took place for further cooperation. Here, I learned about the importance of networking and how diplomacy is crucial and should be taken seriously in order to develop and expand businesses.

Moreover, this meeting provided a platform for more than thirty mayors to share experiences about city management, which is also an opportunity to expand the network of city leaders and open future cooperation possibility. As a liaison officer and translator, I have personally conducted a decent communication skill in order to meet the needs of my clients. I made various networks with people and companies, and also gained valuable knowledge in the planning sector.

Ganesha 83 Foundation is a non-profit incubator, founded by alumni of the Bandung Institute of Technology. In 2014, this foundation conducted a Green Entrepreneurship Challenge which then developed three innovative winners. In assistance of the Danish Embassy in Jakarta, nine delegations travelled to Denmark and had meetings with numerous big companies in the “green” sector. My responsibilities were; organizing delegations and their pitching presentations, organizing meetings, time schedule, and most importantly making sure that the delegations maximize their time being in this networking event, as well as highlighting future business connections between Denmark and Indonesia. There I also had a chance to have a courtesy meetings with honorable individuals, one of them is Secretary Martin B. Hermann from the Foreign Affairs Ministry. I have challenged myself to enhance my networking skills, and to broaden up my perspective to understand and communicate well with the Danish culture.

Marketing has always been a skill I would like to continue sharpen. During my employment, my priority task is to analyze the SWOT factors and develop innovative marketing strategy through branding, media partnerships, event and social media activation, and community engagement. To meet the goals, a high organizational skill is required, worked individually and at some occasion’s team up with other divisions necessary to accomplish the tasks. I also attend and often do presentations in internal and external meetings. The most challenging part of this job was to impress clients and customers with innovative ideas and excellent jobs, with a responsibility to consider budgets and resources management within the company.
