Standing over the ball on the 20th hole, I knew I had to sink the putt to end the match. With the largest audience I ever had, my hands were shaking. I make the putt to win. It was amazing to me to see myself on the Richmond Times Dispatch newspaper. Being interviewed for the first time, I knew I wanted to be in that position again. I worked harder with golf which led me to play Division 1 golf at Longwood University. The values and skills I have learned on and off the course have prepared me for the real world, while striving for excellence. Ever since coming to Longwood, I have been intrigued about the business world. While business and golf go hand and hand, I will be pursuing a management or finance internship, where my passions and skills will help my future employer succeed.
