As the project manager of the Digital Education team at Lingoda, my job is to oversee all projects and make sure they go from start to end with success. This means my day can have a big variety of tasks. For example:- Planning and organizing using project management tools and creating maintainable processes (timelines, schedules, budgets, tracking sheets, documentation, guidelines). The complex part about this is to foresee upcoming risks or issues and act beforehand.In my position, I also need to make use of my interpersonal skills:- Training and mentoring: I have onboarded more than 20 team members and continue to be there after that starting period, to help them, for instance, develop organizational skills to work more efficiently. - Keeping a positive atmosphere: I try to get to know everyone in the team, foster relationships and be considerate of their needs. With that, we have created an amazing team with core values and principles to respect each other, have fun, be productive and learn from each other.- Communicating cross-functionally: My role also requires me to be this bridge between my team and the rest of the company. For that, I need to put all my communication skills in hand as well as some patience and understanding!
