- To ensure timeous, accurate meaningful databases are in place running in the most efficient manner- To engage with the business to understand their needs and provide solutions using the Hyperion software wherever possible- To ensure that Group wide we set standards in place to allow for the same process to be followed Group wide which allows for easier Global support- This position has two major components 1.) Help Desk Manager and 2.) Applications Support Specialist. The first involves being the primary support person for the Hyperion desk. This is the first place all support requests come for the majority of the issues. In will not necessarily be the responsibility of this position to solve all these problems, but they will need to see that they are taken care of. The second part of this position requires this person to be the sole administrator of Hyperion Essbase. This system is used for financial reporting and analysis.- Administer the Hyperion suite of products. Troubleshooting, performing necessary updates- Support on-site and remote end users with the Hyperion suite and provide training in its use. - Closely manage the help desk, and provide advanced support when required. - Maintain policies, procedures and documentation for all systems. - Assist in end-user application training and documented instructions.

Extracting, Transforming and Loading data into Channel Database. Databases include Regional Sales & Margin, Inflation, Competitor Tracking & Supplier Reviews amongst others. Creating views and reports on Hyperion Analyzer for monthly Food and General Merchandise Forums. Putting tests and checks in place to analyse monthly data. Creating on demand reports and comparison graphs of real-time Share, Market Cap, and Foreign Exchange information drawn off I-Net Bridge for Executive Committee members
