·        planning, controlling and prioritizing work for different departments by raising works order for finished goods and subassemblies using the SIOP scheduler spreadsheet and the Sage200 MRP system. ·        supporting production flow by solving problems with works orders, movement of materials, replacement parts (non-con) and raw materials stock.  I also participate in the monthly stock-take.·        creation and maintenance of BOMs in Sage and managing the BOM change control process. This is achieved by liaising with other departments (Purchasing, Product Engineering Managers, CAD) to ensure that proposed BOMs changes are correct (I sense check proposed changes and pre-approve them as an early part of the ECN process) and changes are completed in timely manner. In order to make BOM changes I had to managed run-down of the old part, schedule the introduction of the replacement part, maintain the BOM register (excel spreadsheet ), communicate any changes to stakeholders and participate in the weekly BOM meeting. I have also played an active role in improving the BOM change process.

I worked in Lumen pulse as a Design Administrator. My main duties included ·        Bill of Material creation and management·        providing BOM costings to finance, sales and purchasing·        preparing documentation for new products·        liaising with designers on new product code creation·        assisting production and management in various departments I was given a special project to find a better supplier for installation instruction leaflets for the products. The outcome of this project was a reduction from £5,000 per month to £600 per month with an increase in quality. I used Sage Manufacturing, Sage accounts and Dynamics extensively in this role. October 2014-November 2014 At the start of my employment with Lumen Pulse I worked on ·        assembling LED light fittings·        packing·        keeping the workplace tidy After passing my probation I moved to work in the QA department.
