Dr. Estey is a bicultural, bilingual Latinx licensed clinical psychologist, and yoga and meditation teacher at Harvard Medical School and the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion in Cambridge, MA. She is also a rehabilitation psychologist providing contemplative and performance enhancement treatment for brain injury (to active duty, Veterans, and special forces operation members) at Veteran Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System, affiliate of Stanford University School of Medicine. Estey specializes in the application of yoga, mindfulness, and compassion-based approaches in rehabilitation (e.g., acquired and traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, chronic illness, Guillain Barre syndrome, severe burns, other medical conditions), trauma recovery, and mental performance.
