Communication is one of those concepts most people believe they understand, but in reality they haven’t even scratched the surface. It’s more than just getting your point across or making an aesthetically pleasing design. To truly communication with an audience you need to understand who they are in their entirety and, more importantly, how they need to be communicated to. What’s going to click with them? We all need information but we all enjoy consuming that information in different ways. Some prefer social media posts while others prefer a good blog article. Grasping the importance of what medium to use took me some time, but since then I’ve started taking note of my favorite company’s communication strategy. Now I want to join in on the effort to combine communication and design to make compelling campaigns. I’m moving forward in my career with copywriting and content marketing as my focus areas. I couldn’t be happier to discover this passion of mine! I'm still learning and have much more experience I'd like to accumulate, but I'm always open to connecting with people interested in communication and design!
