Role and Responsibilities:• Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies and programmes towards achieving the company’s business objectives and sustainable growth• Managing current ancillary business as well as develop new ones• Develop a strong brand identity and supporting campaigns to ensure sales and customer loyalty• Enhance media relations (local and foreign) and ensure consistent positive media coverage that will contribute towards sales and identity• Develop and manage new partner relationships• Generate new marketing ideas , which includes the development and implementing of new products and services that will also enhance customer experience• Responsible for the company’s official website and social media outlets. Responsible in formulating and implementing ideas that will drive traffic and sales to the website in order to achieve sales target set

Wordlabs Global Sdn Bhd publishes two main magazines- Fireflyz Magazine, the official in-flight magazine for Firefly Airlines and Outsourcing Magazine. JOB SCOPE: - Creating content (articles, editorials and reviews) for Fireflyz Magazine through interviews, outlet or product reviews or research. - Reviewing Fireflyz Magazine and Outsourcing Magazine prior to printing to ensure that it is free from errors and conforms with styles and format rules (proof-reading and editing) - Liaising with freelance writers and reviewing/editing their work. - Manage the day-to-day running of publications and the company's other media offerings - Liaising with brands and personalities to obtain information for content. - Attending events when necessary.

- Managing the company's social media outlets (i.e. Website, Instagram and Facebook) - Interviewing and liaising with tenants to know more about their nature of business/promotions/events to create content for the social media outlets. - Selecting products from different tenants in the mall that are worth highlighting as an extra marketing effort for tenants as well as to encourage engagement with customers on social media. - Brainstorming and coming up with ideas and creative content in order to draw attention and create engagement with customers. - Working together with the photographer in photo shoots. - Managing the Social Media Monitoring Tool software (Radian 6) in order to be up to date with any negative/positive feedback or incidents that are worth highlighting to the management. - Assisting the PR and Advertising department with press releases and other written materials (e.g. providing content for booklets and newsletters) - Assisting the Customer Service department in responding to emails from customers as well as comments or reviews that are left on Facebook and Tripadvisor.

- Prepare the write-up needed for a deal through research about the product/service that is being offered. - Communicating with merchants/vendors to find out about their products/services in order to gather more information for the deal. - Devising, creating & craft interesting short write-ups of each deal offered and express what makes the offer or experience compelling. - Identifying the key selling propositions of a deal. - Write deal content succinctly, persuasively and conveying a fun sense of humour. - Basic picture editing such as resizing, brightening or sharpening any images used in the deals. - Assisting the team in Editorial tasks outside office hours and on weekends.
