Provide clinical case support for Synaptive equipment and navigation in neurosurgery and spinal procedures. This includes:- Setup and positioning of robotic arm and optics screens to optimize surgeon workflow during the procedures.- Setup and registration of BrightMatter neurological navigation software, a process that included merging MRI, CT, and DTI scans. Required understanding of brain anatomy and physiology and patient pathology.- Assisting with operating and troubleshooting of Synaptive equipment and software before and during the procedure, including in a fast-paced operating room environment.- Assisting with training of surgeons and OR staff on new products and upgrades.- Working with hospital staff and Synaptive engineering to convey customer feedback, ideas, and enhancements.
