The word Metta comes from the ancient Pali language, meaning loving-kindness, friendliness, goodwill and non-violence. In Buddhism the word metta is defined as the strong wish for the welfare and happiness of others. At Mettamoy we too strongly wish for every individual to be happy, and we believe happiness comes from within. Therefore at Mettamoy we'd like to shine a little light on everyone's individual path, getting a little closer to your true essence. We do this by offering different methods, such as yoga, breathing exercises, massage and meditation, depending on the individual and time. The second word within Mettamoy is Amoy, the name of my grandmother and mother. At Mettamoy we believe teachings become effective when be given with an unconditional, non-judging, and caring motherly love. Together we want to create a movement, which cultivates lots of metta to be shared between individuals, within organizations, and with our mother earth.

Rituals is a fast growing Dutch brand which mission is to transform daily routines, like taking a shower or washing your hands, into more meaningful rituals. It does this by creating luxury body & home cosmetics. The function Coordinator is a role within the Wholesale Competence Center, which is involved in developing, checking and improving all Wholesale related projects created by the headquarters and implemented within all operating countries. The coordinators role is to keep the helicopter view of all projects running, project support, and being the first and main point of contact for the Wholesale business.

Internship supporting both Wholesale & Travel Retail departments of Rituals Cosmetics. The Wholesale department is responsible for all Rituals shop-in-shops and the Travel Retail business focuses on hotels, duty-free shops, and on board sales of airlines and cruises. A diverse internship including main tasks like creating internal and external presentations, writing a weekly newsletter, and supporting the set-up of Qlikview (a business intelligence tool) and STEP (a master data management system).

Since I was 15 I had part-time jobs in several restaurants and as hostess at many events. My job at Paradiso was my last part-time job in that field, which I enjoyed very much. Paradiso is a famous yet personal spot in Amsterdam which holds concerts of great bands, lectures and facilitates other interesting events.

Summer internship which resulted in a part-time job at the Marketing & Communication department of Funda, the biggest online real estate platform of the Netherlands. A great company which enables the Dutch to easily find complete, comprehensive, and accurate data of real estate. My main focus was on online content creation, social media, sales and marketing campaigns, and support during events.
