Commencing my nursing journey in 1998 within the state-of-the-art operating theatre of a prominent Pretoria-based hospital in South Africa, I have diligently upheld the well-being of my patients for over two decades. With an unwavering commitment to meticulous preparation, I have consistently infused every shift with enthusiasm, fostering a nurturing atmosphere within the operating theatre. This conducive environment enabled the operating team to confidently execute their responsibilities, ensure the utmost care for our valued customers.Working as a Quality and Safety Coordinator at RVEEH, not only gave me the opportunity to grow in knowledge of the National Standards, but also gave me the ability to develop my skills in Microsoft applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint. Incident management on RiskMan and documentation management on Prompt gave me the opportunity to support and create reference resources for employees.Currently as part time Quality Coordinator at Victoria Parade Surgery Centre I am involved with VMO accreditation, HR duties like New Employee Onboarding, Internal Auditing, Documentation Management, Staff en Consumer engagement, Report writing, Mandatory Training, thus actively involved with the continued adherence to the National Standards. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist I have Floor Coordinator and Clinical scrub/scout duties, keeping my managerial and clinical skillset.
