My strength lies in working with groups of people where I can assist them in the process of change. I do one-on-one counselling and group work where I especially enjoy adding creative processes to facilitate growth in individuals. I have what can best be described as a colourful career background which started at a young age as a waitress working with patrons but was officially launched when I completed a BCom degree in Investment Management (University of Johannesburg) in 2004 and an Honours degree in Financial Management (UNISA) in 2009. This assisted me to train non-financial people to become financially literate. In 2011, I entered the world of Change Management which is where I found my niche and where my passion for working with people was further awakened. This led me to complete a fulltime BPsych Degree (BA in Psychology with Honours in Psychology) (South African College for Applied Psychology). I have completed my practicum at a rehabilitation centre and will be writing my board exams in February 2022 to become a registered counsellor. I am an aspiring artist and regularly hold exhibitions of my own work (oil and acrylic paintings). In addition to my formal studies, I have completed 3 years of informal art therapy courses (UJ and Art Counselling Academy) and incorporate art in my change and counselling processes where appropriate. I am married and a mother of 3 beautiful boys and aim to spend us much time as possible with my family, with whom I love to travel whenever I find the opportunity.
