AML CDD Team Lead

· Led a team of 3 – 4 analysts: supervise team operations to deliver timely and accurate resolution of detected high risk cases· Automated various tasks in Excel using macros to improve efficiency and reduce human error· Reporting of risk performance statistics for the department to senior management/MAS

· Perform Consumer Due Diligence (CDD) to identify and investigate high risk clients to ensure compliance to MAS 626 regulations.· Audit material customer transactions to detect and manage money-laundering/fraud risks

· Key lead on regulatory project implementation of Common Reporting Standard (CRS) & Foreign Accounts Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)· Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of OECD banking regulations with minimal impact to business operations· Enhance various core consumer banking systems to comply with new onboarding requirements· Set up remediation process for entire retail banking base per CRS guidelines· Validate annual CRS reporting for 2017 – 2019 to IRAS
