I am currently a Nursing Professor at George Brown College, where I have the incredible opportunity to impart knowledge and guide the next generation of healthcare professionals. My journey in healthcare began as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in 2012. Inspired by the impact I could make, I pursued my Bachelor of Science in Nursing through the collaborative program offered by Toronto Metropolitan University-TMU (formerly known as Ryerson University), Centennial, and George Brown. As a Registered Nurse, I attained valuable experience in the Rehabilitation Complex Care unit and the Spine/Neurosurgery unit. This gave me a deep understanding of complex medical conditions and surgical procedures, and it enabled me to provide optimal care to my patients.Moreover, my desire for learning led me to obtain a Masters' degree in Nursing at TMU, where I acquired advanced skills and knowledge in the field.
