I'm studying mobility and migration of humans by looking at the chemical composition of teeth, using isotope analyses. By looking at the isotopic ratios in human tissues such as hair, bones and teeth, we can see what an individual ate and in what type of geological environment they lived. My research focuses on the development of new methods (neodymium isotopes) and the validation of existing methods (strontium) to look at the origin of humans.
