I am responsible for the creation of concepts, copywriting, visual design, including typography, logos, layouts and campaigns for various creative platforms. Golden thread development and thinking is required in order to develop through the line advertising campaigns. Together with client service, I effectively communicate and coordinate a client’s marketing requirements to ensure that the visual design communicates their desired business message. I am able to think beyond the parameters of a brief and am able to raise the deliverables to maximum creative output and stature.

Art Direction, creative conceptualization and execution of projects such as Corporate Identities, project launches, events, annual reports, educational games and incentives, etc. Extensive experience of working within the rules of an existing corporate identity, as well as creating new corporate identities and CI guides.

Notwithstanding the fact that I did not speak a word of German on arrival, I was appointed on the strength of my portfolio, and my sheer determination and strong sense of adventure. Within 3 months I had a working knowledge of the language, quickly learned to operate the graphic design software in a German interface, and became a valued employee, as well as fluent in German. Duties included: Client briefings, creative concept and design of corporate image, corporate identities including design of logos, templates, colour palette, and visual themes.Creative concept and marketing strategies including brochures, flyers, direct response mailings, advertisements, packaging, exhibition stands, and displays and screen design for internet marketing and promotions.
