As of 2017, I am working at NWO in the Science Domain (ENW) in the team Mathematics and Computer Science. As of January 2023, I started as the Vidi coordinator for the NWO Science domain. Together with a group of ~13 policy officers and assistants we are responsible for the assessment process of Vidi grants in the Science domain. Furthermore, I am coordinating NICAS projects and a future call (uniting the disciplines conservation, art history and science) and am involved in Smart Industry calls and the Open Competition. As of 2022, I am one of the trainers for a introductory course on the primary process (funding rounds) for new Policy Officers at NWO.During my past years at NWO, my tasks includes working as the secretary for the Round Table Computer Science, a disciplinary consultation committee made up of researchers, and intended to ensure that the research field is organised to provide advice to the board of NWO. Also I have been also involved as a secretary with IPN, the ICT Research Platform Nederland that unites all Dutch academic research groups that have ICT science as their core, and as such acts as a single point of contact for all matters relating to ICT innovation and its importance for our current and future society. Earlier I have acted as the general secretary to the government appointed Sectorplancommittee for Science and Technology (Commissie Sectorplan Bèta en Techniek) from 2020-2021 and was project leader of ICT.OPEN2020 and 2021, bringing together the ICT community. Before, I was working at the University of Amsterdam as the coordinator of academic competences for the Bachelor Chemistry. I graduated from the University of Amsterdam as Master of Science (Chemistry). My extracurricular activities contained several board functions in student initiatives as well as the Education Committee Chemistry.
