As of early 2019, Sanoma Learning has brought all their European Technology departments together to form One Sanoma Learning Technology department. We've started to implement the SAFe framework in our way of working to continuously improve cooperation between teams and borders and thus to become/stay Agile. Our Tech teams are located in Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands. Most important aspect of my job is to help and support the Technology Board (consisting of the CTO, the Business Unit Technology Managers and the (Digital) Leads of the teams) as well as the Agile Office.

I’ve spent the year 2011 working, living and traveling in New Zealand. I’ve had several (often season-related) jobs, one of which is this fantastic and educational job at one of the country’s most valued and scenic hostels near the country's capital. As a small and close team we took care of the Front Office (guest check-in and check-out), tour and travel bookings and guidance, organization of theme nights and events in addition to taking care of the household and the administration (screening of e-mails, handling bookings, maintaining websites like TripAdvisor, etc.).

As a legal secretary I was supporting three lawyers (mostly specialized in Insolvency Law) as well as the Office Manager. Some of my working tasks were the handling and screening of incoming calls and e-mails, the preparation of legal documents and summons, maintaining timesheets, invoices and case files, general office management tasks and event organization.

During my time at high school and university this was my regular ‘sideline job’. I was given the chance to develop my skills here as a receptionist and secretary. I became an all-rounder for this lawyer’s office, working at the front office, at the secretary department, at the archive and occasionally at the financial department.
