I work as a Transportation Associate in a department called Transportation Operations Management. I work with the logistics in the yard with tractor trailer maneuvering to help provide my home building with all inventory coming in and out of the building as needed by various departments, including non-inventory, inbound loads and outbound customer packages. Through Amazon, I obtained my CDL to travel over the road to other Amazon sites delivering inventory. I specialized in going to BNSF rail yards to get inventory from our Amazon inter-modal trailers bringing inventory to various buildings when needed. Also volunteered to be a part of the PDT (Peer Driver Trainer) program to help educate associates learning various skills while reinforcing and maintaining the policies and procedures Amazon provides to make a safe working environment.
