I have counseled multinational corporations, startups, and entrepreneurs throughout the United States and abroad to maximize the value of their corporate portfolios. I have assisted clients through every phase of their business life cycle and counseled them at the intersection of business, technology, and law. Also, I have combined my intellectual property (IP) legal and engineering experience with my corporate legal experience to help clients grow their businesses.Previously, as a CORPlaw Senior Counsel, I assisted clients in various legal issues, including business transactions, contract preparation, licensing, due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, blockchain technologies, and IP protection and management. I also participated in MIT's Professional Education’s Blockchain: Disruptive Technology Program to acquire expert insights into the fundamentals of blockchain and its practical applications in diverse, innovative sectors. It enlightened me about various blockchain applications, their potential real-world implementations, and how to apply these technologies to maximize the benefit of emerging digital transformation projects. I have utilized those skills to provide specialized legal services, including blockchain integration and visualization; cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and tokenization; smart contracts; crypto exchanges; blockchain governance and consortium blockchains; and networks, infrastructures, and scalability solutions.Before moving back to Miami, I was an associate in a prominent firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology group in Silicon Valley. I prepared and prosecuted patent applications, managed corporate portfolios, assisted in trademark and copyright issues, and developed IP strategies. I also provided litigation support and assisted clients in protecting and enforcing their IP rights in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, particularly the USPTO.During law school, I served as a Patent Examiner Extern at the USPTO. I was also recognized as the regional winner and national finalist of the 40th Annual Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Moot Court Competition, where I argued current patent law issues in front of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Before attending law school, I worked on NASA’s Space Program Operations Contract as an electrical engineer at Kennedy Space Center. I assisted in designing and testing the Integrated Electronic Assemblies of the solid rocket boosters used on NASA’s space shuttle fleet.
