2019 - CIO Award Winner - As a Global Sr. Security Manager of Architecture and Engineering in the Cloud Architecture and Engineering space, I am responsible for providing strategic architectural guidance and influence the development and realization of a secured and compliant technology vision across Baxter's security and compliance space.• Lead the engineering vision, artifacts and best practices for Baxter's cloud-based PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS platforms.• Lead the design and architecture of the PaaS platform and services that are consumed by Baxter and Baxter's partners.• Effectively lead, collaborate, and design enterprise architecture for reliability, support, and efficiency and on-board durable systems/applications, ensuring a low MTTR (mean time to resolution).• Collaborate with Enterprise Delivery Managers, Functional Solution Architects and business teams to architect technology solutions to meet and exceed business needs.• Collaborate with technology partners (both application and infrastructure) in influencing the modernization strategy for our platforms and provide guidance for cloud adoption.• Hands-on technical architect who leads the team from the front and inspires thought leadership in the an effort to transform Baxter as the “Best Place to Work Mission”.• Define, communicate and enforce design/coding standards, security practices, and adoption of new cloud solutions for our distributed services.• Technical governance and design review and deployment of electronic guard rails to protect Baxter’s enterprise.• Influence and define processes to enable agile transformation within the cloud team and across global Baxter organizations.
