As a software engineer, I have four years of experience in developing edge modules for the Walmart Internet of Things Platform, which enables the connection of devices from various vendors and the creation of new solutions based on the data sourced from those connections. I use Java and C# as my primary languages, and I have expertise in serverless computing, social networking, and secure coding.I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to innovative projects that can effectively help others, especially in the fields of STEM and education. In addition to my role at Walmart, I also served as a Program Facilitator at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where I planned, organized, and executed programming for over 200 high-achieving high school seniors from underrepresented backgrounds who were interested in STEM topics. I managed a team of five staff members and provided academic and enrichment curriculum for our students. I also have a background in cross-disciplinary research, as I worked as a Lab Technician at Washington and Lee University, where I got to use various tools and technologies, such as motion capture, VR and AR headsets, photogrammetry, and 3D printing, to support projects in biomimetics, molecular visualization, and paleontology.
