With a Bachelor's in Physiotherapy (BPT) and an MSc in Exercise and Sports Sciences, I have cultivated a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of sports performance and rehabilitation. My academic journey has ignited my passion for enhancing athletic capabilities and promoting injury prevention through evidence-based practices.My professional experience includes an impactful internship at Bridges of Sports (BOS), where I had the opportunity to work with athletes from the Siddhi community in Uttara Kannada. Collaborating with coaches, I assisted in training sessions for sprinting events, gained firsthand experience in athletic training and support.At Nitte University, I took on dual roles that further honed my expertise. As a Sports Science consultant for NMAM Institute of Technology, I supported head coaches in track and field, basketball, volleyball, football, cricket and weightlifting, focusing on athlete recovery and rehabilitation protocols. Additionally, in my role as an Assistant Professor at Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy, I taught postgraduate students on vital topics such as athletic performance, injury prevention and return to sport(RTS) after injury. I had designed a Physical Activity program for undergraduate physiotherapy students, which are mandatory fitness sessions inclusive of credit point in their curriculum to promote physical Literacy. Looking ahead, I am eager to leverage my skills to contribute to the sports science field, aiming to develop innovative training programs and recovery strategies that empower athletes to reach their full potential. I am particularly interested in exploring onfield opportunities that bridge the gap between academia and practical application in sports performance.
