Cloud Peritus is a Salesforce Consulting services company, dedicated to providing solutions across Sales, Service, Marketing and Community Clouds. We are experts in helping our clients navigate complex processes through our Advisory, Assessment, Implementation & Maintenance services.

Responsible for the business development activities involving product development partnerships, software development services and contingency recruiting. My responsibilities include bringing in fruitful partnerships, define the processes for client management, software development and bringing in talented, highly motivated individuals into the team.

Responsible for delivering software to the premium, performance segments of Digital RAD and R&F products, managing a team of 70+ software engineers between Milwaukee, Bangalore, Finland and China. Delivered software to 8 different products at various stages of productization focusing on improving quality, customer experience and improving internal productivity of software/validation engineers by automating development, debugging, customer support processes.

Managed Core Infrastructure and System control platform software teams delivering to RAD, R&F and Mammo segments. Core Infrastructure platform was also used in Vascular X-Ray products. Responsibilities included putting together and executing on a roadmap which not only delivers to current product commitments but enabling faster delivery of software solutions to future product needs by taking longer term view of diagnostic X-Ray business.As a stretch assignment, I have taken up the role of Lead Business Integrator for X-Ray for Sales Workbench platform for our sales force. This role has enabled me to understand the commercial aspects of the business and what is involved for a product launch outside of engineering function.

Driving software platform architecture solutions and deployment across different business segments within X-Ray(RAD, R&F and Mammo). In this role, I had to work cross-functionally with hardware, systems and product marketing teams to ensure that we are building scalable platforms that can be re-used across various X-Ray products.

As a software integration lead, I was responsible for integrating the different software platforms that constitute a X-Ray machine which were being built ground up with newer technologies and deliver a clinical flagship product in 9 months time. This role was challenging on multiple fronts: 90% of the team members were new to X-Ray modality and we were building a brand new software platform. We were introducing a brand new Image chain module which entirely changed the X-Ray physics and we were doing the system design as were implementing the software platform.

As a software project lead, I was responsible for closely working with a team of 15 bright engineers to deliver infrastructure components platform that was to be used across Vascular, RAD, R&F and Mammo X-Ray systems. Atlas core platform needed to be highly scalable distributed platform addressing the needs of very diverse X-Ray systems which ranged from 150K USD to 1.5 Million USD. This challenge was further complicated by the fact that the development team is distributed between USA, Hungary and India and integration teams were in Milwaukee, China and France.Atlas core platform was built on the same code base to work on Windows, Linux and Vxworks OS's and was deployed on embedded SBC and multi-CPU PC based systems. To enable this we had to design and develop highly efficient distributed communication mechanisms and used CORBA for location transparency of software objects. Service applications were delivered on a web platform and required Java and C++ interfaces.

As a junior software engineer, I was responsible for the Service applications of X-Ray products, primarily vascular but used for RAD and R&F products too. Most of the development was done for windows platform using Visual C++ and Visual Basic with some applications running on Unix. Out of my zeal to learn more, as a stretch target I picked up occasional assignments to work on the X-Ray system software. At that time, it was a very primitive development platform using combination of PL/M and C on iRMX operating system. Later on, I moved on to Atlas Software team which was completely revamping X-Ray software platform. I was responsible for developing the concepts, architecture , design and implementation of Engineering tools to be enhance the productivity, debugging capability of software engineers. While working on this assignment, I was able to experiment with new technologies - CORBA, Java(RMI, Servlets) and web applications.
