Leading small-medium sized company through an ERP implementation, beginning with the replacement of a 30 year-old system. Working with a great group of people who have little background in this type of work, the role requires the wearing of many hats, including vendor engagement management, guidance and mentoring for data migration quality assurance, documentation and development of business process and procedure, preparation of change management / communication and staff training plans.

Initially took over two under-way projects due to a PM resource change. The first was the implementation of a replacement for the BC Lottery Corporation Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. This included the replacement of IVR software proper, along with building interfaces and integration to internal BCLC systems in order to provide a more complete picture of player / agent interactions.The second project involves the upgrade of operating system and database management software on an older, legacy system identified for sunset in the next 3-5 years. This involved engaging experts in these areas, creating careful, methodical plans to upgrade these underlying components of this older, "brittle" system, ultimately bringing both the operating system and database management software up to supported levels.

Leading an HSSBC-led Software Life-Cycle Management Transition project that includes the onboarding of a new vendor to manage the procurement and management of software assets for all Health Authorities in British Columbia. The transition also includes review and where necessary or desirable, developing and implementing common processes, procedures and tools to make the entire process more efficient and cost-effective.

Phase I included the successful execution of a project to implement a third party software package at three hospitals. The objective of this work was to replace labour intensive, manual processes with a fully-automated inventory tracking solution for managing and controlling the cleaning, assembly, sterilization and dispatch of Operating Room and Ward instruments.While awaiting approval of Phase II of the project, I am currently leading activities to complete the operationalization the first four Phase I sites, and the standardization of medical instrumentation across Fraser Health. Operationalizing includes defining the overall support model, implementing procedures for day-to-day support, defining and documenting down-time procedures and setting up operational support groups.The process to standardize instrumentation across the Fraser Health Authority involves participants from all eleven hospitals. Standardization activities include: analysis of site-specific instrument information, reconciliation with vendor supplied information and facilitating discussions and consensus on enterprise-wide instrument descriptions. .

PM for deployment of an enterprise-wide upgrade of the City's office productivity software (MS-Office) and implementation of a new print strategy including development and implementation of new policy, process/procedure, standards, along with requisite change management activties.

Managing the Procurement Program, a component of the City's Supply Chain Shared Services Program. Scope includes introducing changes to Procurement policy, strategic procurement, contract vendor management, transactional procurement (requistion through invoice payment) standards and practices and change management activities required to effect these changes.

Managing enterprise-wide software deployment projects, including leading a team of business, technical and vendors resources in the selection, configuration and introduction of VanDocs, the City’s corporate Electronic Records and Document Management System (ERDMS). Led the preparation of the RFP, the vendor evaluation and selection process, and worked with legal services, business, IT and vendor resource to prepare the contract, followed by the initial product configuration and testing. In collaboration with key stakeholders, managed the development of change management, communication and training plans to support a City-wide implementation of VanDocs.Monitored and controlled the project budget, timeline, scope, along with the quality of the implementation process, adjusting as necessary and reporting regularly to the project Steering Committee and advisory bodies.
