I inspire people to move well, eat well and think well to achieve their potential. At just 8 years old I knew when I grew up I was going to be a Chiropractor. A bookworm as long as I can remember, at 13 I was reading literature including “How to Help Your Brain - Injured Child” by Glenn Doman. He was a pioneer in the field of brain-body connectivity and neuro-development and his writings helped fuel my goal to becoming a Chiropractor.Fast forward, my 30+ year career has been deeply fulfilling, granted me many rewarding opportunities and taken me to exciting places. Among my professional highlights, I’ve:• Earned a Masters Degree in Paediatric Chiropractic;• Volunteered my practical paediatric chiropractic expertise abroad, most recently working in impoverished communities in India with Hands On India;• Presented workshops on paediatrics and neuro-development to patients, students and colleagues across Australia and internationally – taking me to numerous university lecture theatres, the ski slopes of Japan and a charity hostel in India, and;• Developed long term multi-generation relationships grown over 27 years in rural health practice, mentored countless Chiropractic students and graduates, and consult in a multi-disciplinary practice using leading edge QEEG brain mapping.Walking the talk is intrinsic to my lifestyle, and when I’m not in the office I love exercising and enjoying nature, preparing whole food meals, and exploring new places here and overseas. And it goes without saying – reading. Currently, I’m working on an ‘adaptive challenge’. This project is about creating a sustainable model of rural practice. I am eager to collaborate with other professionals interested in addressing this challenge.I love connecting with industry colleagues and practitioners, as well as guest speaking and workshop presentation opportunities, so I welcome new connections.
