I'm Kaitlin Etcheverry and I have worked in the human services field for 10+ years in various capacities. I am currently pursuing my Graduate work in Special Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis at Arizona State University. I am actively accruing my supervision hours to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. While ABA has received its fair share of criticism in recent years (and rightfully so!), I work diligently to engage in work that centers client choice, dignity, and respect while using effective, evidence based practices. I value cooperation over compliance, a full vocabulary and accessible communication system, and a persons right to always say, “No”. I purposefully seek out Autistic and Neurodivergent voices to help inform my practice, and have learned an incredible amount about my own neurodivergencies along the way. I firmly believe that every person should be able to access their community safely and receive an education in the least restrictive environment— sometimes that means they need a little help from someone like me. I’m honored to be of service. Outside of the office, I am a proud parent, military spouse, D&D nerd, and food enthusiast. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am also a fierce advocate for the rights of queer youth and access to appropriate health care.
