I direct a small research group studying the mechanisms of rare birth defects affecting the head, skin, heart and blood vessels. Supported by private foundations and numerous patient advocacy groups, I co-lead the Mechanisms of Paracrine and Endocrine Disorders team, part of the Marseille Medical Genetics unit of the French National Institute for Health and Medical Research (INSERM) at Aix-Marseille University.
