• Prepare and review Training Department annual budget. • Prepare and review Training Hours budget (applied for each department and associate). • Prepare monthly Training / Action Plan based on business needs, skills gap and update product knowledge such as promotions, new menus and theme nights for the restaurants.• Introduced Mandatory Training Programs (Training Programs whereby all employees must attend the following: Hospitality Service Standards, Hygiene and Grooming, Safety and Security, Fire Safety, Telephone Skills, Communication Skills, Product Knowledge, Personality Development, Check In / Departure Standards, Basic HACCP, Minimizing Breakages, Training Skills Workshop for Supervisors, Coaching and Feedback, and Behavioral Training). • Conducting Leadership Programs (Train-the-Trainers, Management, Supervisory and Entry Level Programs). • Developing training programs to address performance gaps within the hotel. • Promoting Product Knowledge (To ensure that employees are updated with the services of the hotel). • Officiating on boarding programs (General Orientation Program). • Counseling for grievances and serving as a mediator to resolve issues between employees. • Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure quality standard operational procedures are met at all times. • Implemented Smart Cards (SOP) for staff ready reference. • Implemented and follow up with staff personal appearance whist on duty. • Health & Safety Programs (Conducting General Fire Evacuation Programs, First Aid Programs). • Hospitality Service Standards (Ensuring F&B Service and other service departments' Quality Standards are applied).• Food Safety/Hygiene Programs (FIFO, HACCP, Kitchen Sanitation, Personal Hygiene). • "Back on the Floor" (hands on program) is regularly implemented to ensure that quality standard is applied at all times.• Minimizing breakages (Training programs to prevent breakages within the F&B Department).
