My principled tendency was at the core of my decision to become a police officer in 2002. I came to believe that as such, I would be an agent for change on the communal level. In my fourteen years working at the Town of Ramapo Police Department, I have amassed a vast and varied number of experiences in investigative tactics. I have been instrumental in solving many cases, involving murders, gang assaults, drug trafficking, thefts and domestic violence. I have become proficient at conflict de-escalation and resolution techniques, most of which have been thoroughly tested through my constant interactions with the mentally ill or disabled. Before my career as a police officer, I worked for nearly two years as a corrections officer. Additionally, I am a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having actively and honorably served my country for three years. Hence that level of discipline, which would be required of an effective member of your team, is imbedded in my DNA. I am a community-minded law enforcement professional. And, as such, my eventual engagement by your company would provide the opportunity to continue to do what, for me, comes naturally.
