Intern for Cooper Sanchez, artist and garden designer based out of Clarkston, GA. Maintained Historic Oakland Cemetery and the Cator Woolford Gardens in Atlanta. Both properties are historic sites; Oakland is a Victorian cemetery owned by the City of Atlanta; and the Woolford Gardens is a non-profit wedding venue located on the grounds of a 1920s estate. Learned gardening skills under Sanchez, including editing of garden beds, weed and invasive control, use of landscaping equipment, planting and removal of plant species, pruning of and caring for plant species, a basic knowledge and recognition of plant species, and a basic understanding of a garden design and maintenance business in the non-profit sector.

I reached out to potential voters via phone, text, and through in-person door-to door-canvassing in order to spread board-member Tamara Jones’ message for a better school system with equalized education for all students in the Atlanta Public Schools System. Jones, a parent in APS for over 15 years, was a former PTA member, and was a candidate in the 2021 race for Seat 7 at-large of the Atlanta Board of Education. She was elected to the seat following a runoff in December of 2021.

Skilled laborer for restoration experts involved in preserving the original woodwork in the historic c. 1905 neoclassical Zuber-Jarrell House in East Atlanta. The house, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was built for a lumber baron using wood felled on site. I participated in doing restoration work of the original woodwork on second floor of the house. While working at the home, I learned many valuable skills in the field of preservation, including;- How to properly clean woodwork in order to remove fogginess/wear without removing the original 100+ year old stain- How to remove window screws/bolts, window lifts, and sash locks from windows - How to remove fogginess/wear from brass fixtures in a way that doesn't harm the original quality - How to remove and carefully strip 100+ year old doors - Alphabetical system of categorization for removed doors, woodwork, and fixtures - Safe handling of harsh chemicals used in construction and restoration-work

- Made connections with voters via physical canvassing, phone-banking, and text-banking - Organized and trained volunteers on how to canvass/phonebank/text-bank - Organized events to recruit and train volunteers - Office organization of yard signs, doorknob flyers, pamphlets, and paid canvasser pay sheets - Divvied pay to paid canvassers - Worked on Get Out the Vote - organization of the event and of the paid canvassers each morning in addition to organization of breakfast events

- Served as lifeguard at the Inman Park Pool- Received Red Cross certification and maintained First-Aid skills with bi-weekly pool training sessions- Protected members and guests in addition to hourly checks of the pool chemicals and re-stocking of restrooms- Cleaned restrooms and pool deck following each shift

- Worked in the assembly line for the production of the popsicle product- Worked in the packaging of popsicles into wrappers and boxes for distribution- Cleaning of both the popsicle production facility and equipment after every shift
