I’m an up and coming front end web developer with an interest in mobile app design and creating efficient and meaningful user experiences. I enjoy constantly learning new things and never back down from a project once I’ve started it (unless it gets too hard). My interest in design was sparked during high school. I went to a technical school and learned graphic design as a trade. I spent a lot of time designing with the adobe creative suite and working with real clients to create interesting designs and eye-catching layouts. By the time I attended college at the University of Connecticut, I had settled on Web Design as it seemed like the natural evolution from the days of print media. From there I learned the ins and out, dos and don'ts of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Vue.js, GitHub and more. I apply those skill everyday at my current job as a web designer in UConn's web lab where I design, update and maintain many of the university owned websites. As my time at UConn is drawing to a close, I look to the future to see where my life and career is headed next.
