Growing up, I developed a deep appreciation for economics. While the periodic table was intriguing, it never captivated my full attention. The financial markets, however, stood out as a dynamic arena where anyone can participate, and success is solely measured by results. The approach to achieving those results is less important than the outcomes themselves. This aspect of the financial world—where uniqueness, curiosity, and charisma are valued—drew me in.My initial path led me to Finance at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where I enrolled in the financial markets program. As a student equity analyst, I immersed myself in learning about careers and opportunities in the capital markets.Over time, my passion for mathematics and statistics grew stronger. I found myself eager to model equations and adjust them to explore their potential in financial contexts. Each of my statistics classes became an opportunity to tailor concepts to the stock market.Encouraged by peers and mentors who recognized my skills in modeling and statistics, I decided to pursue a master's in Financial Mathematics. I describe it to others as a perfect blend of the stock market and advanced statistics. I’m enthusiastic about the journey that lies ahead!
